It makes me a persistant pursuer of photographs LOL..and Bringer, all you have to do , if there is every a big boxing event in your area, find out where the host hotel is and you can meet everybody involved with the show no doubt in the lobby. etc. Boxing people are some of the most approachable on earth

When I met Joe Frazier, I thought he was a pretty nice fella. Seemed to be busy, but actually tried to make the most of it. Good guy.

Good tip Ice, I'm just in an isolated area. It makes me wish I never left Philly, well that and other reasons. The nearest big cities around me are Charlotte, Memphis, and Knoxville. I'm waiting for the day something in boxing goes back to Memphis, ala Tyson/Lewis.

HEY JOHN!! Did you see the episode of Good Times where JJ was shot by the gaNG leader MAD DAWG? He was just grazed by the bullet but was acting like he was all in pain while recovering and his momma bought him those red tight DYNOMITE pajamas. Then his Dad wanted to kill MADDAWG SO he went to the court hearing all the judge did was place him on probation, but then MAD DAWG's momma showed up and slapped MAD DAWG cuz he was hopless and she just dissowned him so then JJ's Dad didnt do nothing to him cuz he felt bad for him. Then JJ's Mom showed up and SAID" Hey you didnt do nothing to him " AND then JJ's dad SAID" What kind of Father am I to feel bad for the kid who shot my son ?" And THEN jj'S mOM sAID "The right kind".....

              did you see it?

Hate to say this but one of the rudest boxer I have ever met was Evander "Real Deal" Holyfield. The man would not take pictures nor sign anything with the fans. It surprised me cause you know how he's a rejuvinated christian after his heart condition and all. I thought he would have appreciated the fans a little more than that.

I have heard more than one credible story from someone who said something very similar after meeting Holyfield. One guy who I consider VERY credible tells me of the time in NYC at the Boxing Writers dinner when a certain former three time world champion who was down on his luck at the time asked Holy to sign the program book for him and Holyfield said NO right to his face in full view of several people
