joe never had any power those are all early career knockouts. pernell whitaker had a bunch of early career knockouts too what happened did he "lose" his hands? joe didn't lose his power bums just stopped taking dives.

He has better work rate and a better chin, if thier power was equal I'd give it to Joe.
better work rate=leaving himself wide open for roy's speed and power to exploit
better chin=roy was only down once in his prime calzaghes been down a lot more. remember you said prime jones the jones who got ko'd twice is not a prime jones
as for power being equal no way are they even close.
still joe can miss a lot more than roy he's got that going for him.

THe first fight was a garbage stoppage. That ref sucks. He let Joe rabbit punch without saying anything. THe only effective punches were bhind the head.

I think a young Joe had more power than Jones. He absolutely was a KO artist, back in the day it was everything else that people used to question, but not his power.

BTW What I just said is not the same thing as saying prime Calzaghe beats prime Jones, I pick Jones in that fight, but Calzaghe would always have a chance.

did anyone watch those fights they were ridiculous hometown stoppages thats how joe gets his "knockouts" watch roy jones knock people out cold then compare their power. pretending he was a huge puncher is an injustice to the sport. he is what he is. he has paulie malignaggi power but just throws more punches(and misses)

Sorry dude, but Joe did have power. Eubank actually said that that was the hardest he'd been hit in his career, and Eubank fought Nigel Benn twice. Also, what do you mean by "hometown stoppage", I've heard of a hometown decsion before, but I'd love to you to tell me which fight Joe has had that he diddn't deserve to win.
