SI SI .Ali the man & Ali the boxer are 2 different things ive just seen enough on this thread to justify that Ali had class as a fighter but some of his behaviour outside the ring have to be unarmored but the fact he didn't fight in Vietnam he has to be given credit there but some of the stuff he said to Frazier are unforgivable as Frazier is still angry & hurt by those insults & slurs on his character.

I thought a lot of stuff Ali said was bordering on racism, allthough i dont believe he had any malice in his heart for white people.... i just feel he was being spoon fed crap by the Nation Of Islam

I can tell you Ray Leonard is very close to the top of my list though.

Lennox Lewis is top 5 for me aswell.

The kind of man Ali was OUTSIDE the ring is far from great...

1. He had no love or respect for the country which had been so good to him, and refused to fight for the US, saying ******s don't believe in war, which is obviously not true
2. He called Joe Frazier an "uncle Tom" and a gorilla
3. He had a big mouth and behaved childishly
4. He treated women without respect
5. He professed to be a ******, and yet went against his faith by cheating on his wives repeatedly, having a great number of affairs and hiring many **********s (this "religious" man was known to have as many as ten hookers after a fight)
6. He had no respect for anyone, calling many top fighters "bums"

His arrogance and disrespect set a bad example for young people.

Question for Racist Tunney:

If you found that Wlad or Vitali cheated on their wives or did anything to go against their Religious faiths would you

1. Stop being a fan of them

2. Lower your opinions of them as boxers (aka on the rankings?)


How about Tommy Morrison? I noticed that you have had a picture of him in your avatar before. Did you know he was a devout Christian that cheated on his wife all the time, had loads of hookers and got AIDS from it?

Well a lot of people think of him either as the funny poetic man on tv or a racist but Malcom X changed his view i think you have a good point they certainly took a lot of his money im sure they fed him plenty but at the end of the day he was with them Malcom X is an example of a man who changed his view Ali his friend left him who had great courage Malcom X or Ali they both gave there lives in ways & for what false propaganda you dont have to be any colour to be a ****** as for Joe Frqazier he has the right to take his kids to shop etc & his family to mass without death threats & having to take his kids out of school etc many black fighters were opinionated but keeped it to themselves if anyone should be a hero to Afro Americans etc its Rubin Hurricane Cater what he went threw was racism Ali had none of that if anyone had the right to be a racist it would be him but his a gent & would have been a world champ just ask Emile Griffith.
