    Nuff respect.

Hatton has a good shot to win this time if the fights at 140 and in the UK. Having the fight at WW is pointless. Since Hatton is going to be the one drawing 100,000 people to Wembley stadium, Floyd should be willing to give Hatton the advantage of choosing the weight. Hatton/Floyd should have always been at 140, but Floyd moved up before taking on The Man in the division Ricky Hatton and instead fought Gatti.

I pray to ****ing God Paulie Malignaggi or Juan Lacanzo beat Hatton. Nothing against the guy, but he did nothing in the first fight to warrant a rematch. All he's doing is robbing real boxing fans of the fight we want to see the most: Mayweather/Cotto.

I like Ricky Hatton. And I was pulling for him in the first fight. But he showed absolutely NOTHING in that fight to make him deserving of a rematch. You can come with all the excuses in the world, it doesn't change that Hatton was not only knocked out, but done so in very brutal, and embarrassing fashion. The fight was not close up to the point of the knockout. "Oh but the ref... the weight.. the location.." The **** outta here with all that. Be it Cortez, Hatton's mom, or me in there.. The ref didn't knock Hatton head first into a ring post. Mayweather will handle Hatton, most likely just as easily at 140, as 147.

He's just that much ****ing better than Hatton. Get over it, my people.

EDIT- and when I say "my people" I mean the 10 of you that are actually delusional enough to believe that Hatton has a prayer

L0l at some people here thinking that Hatton is the only one that wants a rematch..

Mayweather and his manager stated that they would love to have a rematch with Hatton at Wembley next year after Oscar rematch.. Stop being an idiot that there will be no rematch because there is! Shaefer already said it..

            Hatton wants the rematch
            Mayweather also wants the rematch!

So Both of them wants the rematch and it's not only Hatton but both of them!!

Oscar has last one fight after Mayweather and I won't be surprise if Oscar will fight Floyd for the 3rd time even he's down 2-0 at his farewell fight..

Ya think? Mayweather would be a ****ing fool not to want the rematch. He's probably pissing himself with excitement knowing how much money he can make for a rematch with Hatton. Quite literally "easy money"

That said, I think a rematch is ****ing ******, and won't be ordering it, if it does take place.

$15 plus million to fight a guy that I have already dominated and will beat even worse next time?

                Where do I sign up?

LULZ!!! this post made me laugh for so many reasons .... 1stly neither Paulie or Lazcano have a snowballs chance in hell of beating Hatton and if he loses to either of them by the end of 08 ill give YOU all my points.

2nd Hatton stepped up to the plate by risking his unbeaten status against the widely acknowledged P4P king which in itself warrants a rematch .... especially with all the hoo haa about Joe Cortez being a ****ing ****e ref

3rd ... its promotors who make matches ... yes the people (including me) want to see Mayweather Vs Cotto but atm it doesnt appeal to the Mayweather camp because the money aint there my friend, it wouldnt matter if the whole world called for that fight, until the promotors think its hot enough it wont happen despite whether the fighters want it to or not

Malignaggi could beat Hatton, cut his face to shreds. There are more worthy opponents out there for Floyd to fight. No need for this rematch, he owned Ricky first time, 8 rounds to 2 or something. Not competitive. Hatton got mastered. May needs to fight the Cotto-Marg winner or retire, he's becoming a joke and if he takes the Hatton rematch Ring magazine should remoev him from their p4p #1 position as a gesture of annoyance
