Sam Peter vs. Vitali Klitschko: Finally, and Finally

By James Blears - It took some of the shrewdest brains and largest egos in boxing to achieve a meeting of minds in a sweltering Mexico City, as a who’s who of promoters agreed to combine forces to realize a fight between WBC Heavyweight Champion Samuel Peter and Emeritus Champion Vitali Klitschko. There goes unification, unless training camp knocks Vitali out again.

Vit bailing out little brother again. I don't want Vit against Peter, I want the rematch against Wlad.

You have to wonder what kind of Vitali makes it to this fight. How much confidence can he have in his body holding up? How rusty will he be? If he were still healthy and active I would pick Vitali to win by vicious KO, but as it stands now anything could happen. I dont want to see this fight to be honest.

if vitali can make it threw training camp he should have a shot, id be worried that sam peter might use a body attack on vit and wear him down, we all know the prime vitali woulda ***** slapped and KOd sam

I'll believe it..When I hear the Bell ring to start round 1..

as for people who say.. "There goes unification" Do you think Don King is Going to let Sam Peter ANYWHERE near Wlad as long as he has THAT belt???
LOL.. But I think this is a 1 time thing.. I am sure Vitali will retire as long as the Klitschkos fulfill their dream of being Champs at the same time..

The odds of someone having all 4 belts are next to impossible anyways.. and if you get at least 3 of them.. I'd say that Makes you the man.. especially if you already have a win against the guy with the 4th belt..

One more thing... Vitali at 60% is still way too much for Sam Peter...

I'd like to see a Ring champ crowned, and we can only get that if Peter fights Wlad.

I don't think it'd going to be a one time thing, unless he becomes mayor of Kiev.

You're probably right, King probably wouldn't have wanted Peter anywhere near Wlad but I can always hope.
