Is Tarver-Dawson a sure thing?

Americans like you piss me off, you follow mostly only American fighters and you ignore, discredit and bash European fighters....Europeans are dominating several weight classes, American fighters are fading....You admitted that you only started following boxing a year or two ago or something like that so you aren't aware of the great talent in Europe right now....Go watch European fighters for a change and educate yourself so you won't have to say "who is that" about a successful European champion.I guess they are a minority for me because I live in America, and the only elite fighters that get on TV over here are Pavlik, Kessler, Calzaghe, etc.
Arthur Abraham? Who is that?
You know what I'm saying?
And I didn't call you racist. I just said that your posts favor Eastern European fighters. I don't know how you can dispute that. It is just blatantly true.Comment

Listen... the same reason that you mention Eastern European fighters nearly exclusively is because that is what you are exposed to in your country by your own media. That same is true for Americans.Americans like you piss me off, you follow mostly only American fighters and you ignore, discredit and bash European fighters....Europeans are dominating several weight classes, American fighters are fading....You admitted that you only started following boxing a year or two ago or something like that so you aren't aware of the great talent in Europe right now....Go watch European fighters for a change and educate yourself so you won't have to say "who is that" about a successful European champion.
As you said, I am new to the sport, so between watching the newest fights that are available to me on TV, and catching up on important historical fights, I don't really have to time to watch a German broadcast of a fight between two fighters who aren't 100% established yet.
If they are that good, they will eventually show up to me in my own country's media. Calzaghe is a perfect example.
Back a couple of pages ago, I was defending you that your so-called "racist" posts were because of what your country's media targets. Now you are on my nuts, so...

Definately. Tarver showed that the Hopkins thing wasn't indicative of how little he had left.
Now that I think about that, a lot of that was probably having to lose a bunch of weight from making Rocky Balboa, and playing a heavyweight. The same thing that happened to Jones Jr.
Tarver seems to have recovered better than Jones though. What he did to Clinton Woods was pretty impressive. Antonio Tarver is not through yet, and I think he is going to able to beat Dawson.
Good to see you back Skills. I know I've already said it once before, but seriously, I am glad to see you back champ.Comment

Not necessarily a sure thing, we'll have to wait for June 3. Dawson does have a contract with Showtime to fight Tarver though. And Dawson has regressed, the change in trainers obviously affected him because he looked better in his previous fights. Even Floyd Mayweather Sr said he looked like ****, just proves he wasn't fighting to what he was capable of. All Dawson needs to do is fix his defense which is very fixable, he'll look better in his next fight whether be against Tarver or Diaconu.Comment

Diaconu strikes me as a little limited.
Dangerous puncher with some good skills, but for a LH as small as Diaconu, don't thiink he throws as much as he needs to, especially on the inside.
Favour Dawson in that one, but wouldn't be suprised to see him hit the canvas at some point.
Tarver bout is a toss-up.
If Tarver comes in good shape & focused, favour him narrowly, probably by late rounds TKO.Comment
