Paulie Malignaggi could actually beat Floyd jr because he has one sharp ass jab and has a good back step.

I would say JMM and winky would give some real tough competition for floyd jr.

Interestingly if you look at Paulie, he has some narrow ass shoulders.

Calderon I feel could pull off a convincing win. Floyd's proven difficulty with south paws, Calderon's movment, timing, and intelligence would have Floyd falling apart. I don't think Floyd has ever fought anyone that he can't hit. I don't know how he would react.
It would be an interesting fight with Linares because his timing could really give Mayweather some problems but as you said, who knows how he'd deal with someone not coming towards him. It would be a counterpunching fight, so it wouldn't be a very entertaining fight but it would be interesting.

I don't think Mayweather would fall apart if faced with a guy like Calderon but Calderon's style and tactics definitely would cause some problems for Mayweather.

I think Mayweather's only hope in a Calderon fight would be a knockout, I honestly cant fathom him winning rounds. Ivan has better timing, better feet, equal defense, and he has made a career out of winning rounds.

As I have explained in the past, the should roll defense really falls apart against south paws. Not only would Floyd be facing one of the slickest boxers since Willie Pep, he would be facing one of the slickest southpaws. Bad bad match up for Floyd.

I agree a Linares matchup would be very interesting to watch. Linares might be able to pile up rounds with his fluid combination punching, even if they don't really land flush. All the rounds will be very close. It would be a borefest nodoubt, but it would be an exciting borefest like Hopkins Wright where you will just be on the edge of your seat going "I wonder what will happen!"

Dont matter floyd jr is not as fast as he was at 130-135...because at 147 with the extra weight he just takes shots instead of moving as quick as he used to he would rather take shots on the shoulder and slip and pot shot.

Pauli wont knock floyd jr out but he will be able to win on points with that fast hands.

                    Winky Wright

Co-sign. A dull fight but Winky would **** him up wit his jab-and-cover-up attack. I think this fight was discussed for early '06 but Floyd thought better of it.
