i would say israel vasquez hes got both and at the same time a devastating punch
joan guzman is also a good choice
also someone with a huge reach advantage so he should have to force floyd to fight him on the inside something he doesnt do well like wlad
and calzaghe because the guy has no weakness
vasquez would be like a pillow fight for floyd

Both Marquez brothers. Ivan Calderon. Vernon Forrest. Floyd will have problems with any fighter that works well behind a jab.

Pound for pound, Calderon could give him a some trouble with his hit and move tactics, Linares with his timing, accuracy and combinations, JMM and Guzman.

To be honest, I don't see Floyd-Marquez being really that close of a fight at all. Juan Manuel would make it highly competitive, but I'd think Floyd would win pretty clearly.

Also Guzman is pretty much a poor man's Mayweather so I'd say no to that fight and Vasquez would get destroyed by Mayweather. Vasquez doesn't have the best of chins and cuts really easy. Take that with Mayweather's excellent counter punching accuracy and his defense and you get a TKO for Mayweather.

Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright could really give him hell though. Especially Winky.

I think so, he's probably the most complete fighter in the sport right now.

I am not really sure what Linares will do with a fighter that does not come at him. It would probably be a pretty boring fight. Linares might be able to pull of a decision, but It would not be convincing.

Calderon I feel could pull off a convincing win. Floyd's proven difficulty with south paws, Calderon's movment, timing, and intelligence would have Floyd falling apart. I don't think Floyd has ever fought anyone that he can't hit. I don't know how he would react.

Remember this a p4p match up so we have to assume that each fighter is the same size.

p4p both Marquez brother would give Floyd hell. You cannot one and done them. You have to throw in combinations to break past their high hands, and you will ALWAYS take punches in the process.

I can see Floyd losing a UD in both these cases. He would simply not be willing to put forth the activity required to break their defense, and they both have such good technique and work so well behind the jab that Floyd would be in for a world of difficulty.
