I think Oscar's style matches up very well against both Margarito and Quintana. I am very impressed with Cotto's abilities and even more with his ring intelligence, so I think he would be a very tough match for Oscar. Oscar can compete with anyone though, IMO, so I think ODLH-Cotto would be an amazing fight. I know a lot of people are really high on Margarito (again), but I think that Margarito would absorb a horrific beating against Oscar. He is too damn ****** in the ring. He wouldn't realize that he was getting his faced boxed off until it was way too late. Oscar is still a sharp puncher and he has excellent power. Even though I think he could control Margarito with his jab alone, I see Oscar throwing and landing pretty much every type of shot on Margarito. Margarito's tough, but I wouldn't be at all surprised he got dropped repeatedly or even stopped by Oscar.

I think Cotto is way too versatile and smart to lose to Margarito. I can see Cotto beating Margarito in about five different ways. In years past I had my doubts about Cotto, but I really think he is the goods now. He has really developed into a great fighter. I imagine that a lot of Margarito fans would point to his high pressure style and Cotto's supposedly weak chin to argue in favor of their man, but I really don't see Margarito beating Cotto. He just has too many tools IMO.

Forbes is much smaller and not as skilled to even have been in the ring so AGAIN. oscar face should not have been as beat it. Was gotta face beat up againts gomez? Well, its hard to argue that Cotto hasn't been genuinely buzzed. Corley had him out on his feet too. The thing is, those fights probably impressed me more than any of his other fights. Despite being seriously buzzed, Cotto always had the presence of mind to avoid being KO'd and the recuperative powers to come back strong in the next round. It is those qualities more than any others that made me a believer that Cotto was going to be a really great fighter.

Btw, Cotto won't be fighting Quintana again, even if Quintana manages to collect ten more belts. Quintana's wife and kids won't let it happen.
