16-18 ft ring, Parris as the ref, I can see the fight being much more competitive, but with Hatton still losing. Probably not by stoppage though, since he won't be nearly as frustrated. Ricky was avoiding most of those lead rights earlier in the fight as he came in. As long as Floyd is doing the WWE and the senior tour with DLH, this fight makes sense, but only in England.

I just thought about this a little more, if Mayweather agreed to these terms, he'd probably become more aggressive because he wouldn't want the fight to go to the judges so a stoppage is a big possibility.

Mayweather by late KO or unanimous decision. The fight would be a lot closer, tho.

And can we have less labelling all British judges (as well as many others around the world) crooked? I'm sure there are a few who'll let nationalistic pride get in the way of fair play, but I'm CERTAIN many more try their best to be impartial.

Remember the judge who gave Holyfield a draw against Lewis.

Ricky dont want it at distance because he gets killed there , but he dont want in close either cause he was killed there also ,, must have been no mans land for Hatton in that fight being outclassed and not a clue what to do , and with his panic corner telling him to stop smothering himself while Ricky is knowing if he gives Floyd room he is ****ed , no wonder Hatton cried it was a nightmare for him ,,,,,, Hatton is not the class of Floyd , not near it , and cannot beat him anywhere at any weight with any ref , as soon as Floyd lands some nice crisp shot Rickys brain is gunna fall to pieces ,, Floyd by KO again .

People forget that Floyd did most of the man handling in the last fight, and will probably do again if they ever meet.

i made a post before the fight saying it depends on what the referee will allow Hatton to get away with i feel it would be a totally different fight with the English fans behind Ricky in his own backyards with all the preassure on PBF to perform in the lions den in hostile circumstances , and with the referee giving Hatton the benefit of the doubt u never know

BTW im not saying its right for Hatton to manhandle his oponents & grapple and ****
WHat people forget is that Floyd is a very tough bloke who can change his fighting to suit conditions.Floyd can be dirtier than Hatton if duty calls.Basically whatever Hatton knows Floyd can do it better, faster and harder

                    Floyd would KO him regardless.

They're NOT in the same class plain and simple, They can fight in a small ring at 140 with Mickey Vann/Dave parris has the ref...PBF would still prevail..He is a very smart and adaptable fighter.
