I also think it's funny that whenever the board is split there are people who think they can speak on behalf of the entire board. At least half of the board is pretty solidly behind Mayweather, respect his accomplishments and want him to continue fighting.
It's only about half of the people who complain about him. It might even be less than half of the board. The only difference is that the haters are VERY vocal and assume that because their voice is louder that it somehow is more relevant.
If Leonard Ellerbe and Floyd Mayweather really do read this; they know that not everyone on this board thinks Mayweather should retire. But all they have to do is look at Floyd's numbers on PPV, in tv ratings, and interview requests to know that the general public not only don't want him to retire, but also want to see him branch out and do many different things. I'm happy for him.
