2 u disrespect Castillo yet he beat Floyd ,like ive siad many times he may have won the rematch but he was still beaten by him and u yourself are bascially saying he is a B Class fighter

3 Hatton has always struggled with Southpaws he lost to Southpaw fighters in the amateurs like i said styles make fights ,Forrest beat Mosley Amateur and Pro ,Tarver beat Jones amateur and Pro

4 if heart was'nt a skill then ill bet Zab Judah would snap it up by the bottle load ,clearly a skill how dio u think someone like Hatton a "club Fighter" has got to the level he has
I cant believe the way you keep mentioning Castillo.Castillo was good at his peak when Floyd fought him around 2002.Ricky fought a washed up Castillo decades later who had failed to make weight on a couple of occassions. This is one reason why UK fighters are taken as a joke, they are notorius for fighting geriatrics and fighters who are over the hill. They never choose anyone on top of their game.

Floyd proved that fight was not a fluke and handed Castillo a rematch, what happened? On the other hand Ricky Hatton when he beat Kosta he made it clear there woule never be a rematch,Joe when he beat Kessler said the same.Regarding Floyd being a slow starter,he has mentioned that himself, how he works out fighters then systematically dismantle them.

WHen Toney was at his peak no UK fighter wanted him, when Toney signed to fight Holyfield Calzaghe was all over the papers talking about how he wanted to beat Toney at 168.Firstly Toney was by then an old guy who was fat and would need to lose so much fat to get back to 168.

lol @ this being a self-congratulatory excercise by "enlightened" american boxing fans

"we respect the british so we must be the better enlightened fans, while the rest are nothing but nationalistic one-track fans"

        please.

brits have a few good fighters in this day. hatton, calzaghe are dubious cause they fought under the wbu/wbo banner for ten years and mostly beat FADED legends when they came to america. not once have they beat a formidable opponent in their prime. hatton failed with mayweather and calzaghe fought lacy and kessler who were built up by the british press and being potential p4p'ers.

lacy proved to be all-hype as he could barely get by manfredo, and we dont know ANYTHING about kessler yet, which is why i hope he'd fight Miranda and get knocked out so this "perfect boxer" would be exposed.

Another post that proves what I'm saying exactly. No British boxer can ever be any good, let alone any of their opponents, and they're a failure if they lose to the p4p #1.

While Joe Calzaghe was beating kessler and Lacy Hopkins was busy losing to Jermain Taylor. Roy Jones was trying to recover from three brutal KOs.

The moment you describe the case for Calzaghe being a good(!) boxer as "dubious" you just expose exactly the type of bias I'm talking about. Open your eyes.

Floyd handled Castillo he run away from him all not long ,Castilo still beat him & he was not a great fighter in his prime good but not great so regardless wether he was in his prime or not against Floyd he still should not have been able to handle the so called best fighter ever the way he did

I see u failed to point out that Dela Hoya was 34 years old when Oscar fought him a guy who was winning the fight untill he ran out of gas ,Floyd tired him out did he no Oscar ran out of gas the same as he did against Mosley 2 ,Trinidad ,

Whether I'm **** or not I'm entitled to my opinion.Just dont bring race into it coz its nothing to do with race.

Joe is just an ordinary fighter whose record is paded.Joe came around at a time when there were great fighters,he could have faced them.Instead what did we see,he was importing the Bikas and the Ashira's.I cant see any fighter who Joe beat who is worth of any mention.Joe was even dropped by a 43yr old man.I wont talk about the decision.

Who is Joe in boxing anywhere?

Kessler was being talked up no end by American fans u clown plenty of people on NSB were picking Kessler to beat Calzaghe after his ownage of Andrade

Lacy was'nt Hype when he came to britain , but its always the same with people like u Lacy is overated cause he lost Calzaghe where as if he had won Calzaghe would have been overated

You are awesome. You are completely allowing your dislike for British fighter to cloud your judgement of boxing. Everything you say is wrong, and anyone with even a passing knowledge will tell you the same. Do you like boxing really, or just Floyd?

Your judgement is questionable.I dont know whether you are God or something coz to you time is of no significance.

Firstly you fail to see that by the time Hatton fought Castillo it was years later and Castillo was washed up.

2ndly you fail to see that although Castillo was on top of his game when he fought Floyd,Floyd was not the best pound for pound then.Thats year back men, when Roy Jones,Zab Judah and Kosta were the men to beat.

Oscar was 34 but certainly still very good.He had knocked out Maryoga in stunning fashion.Mayweather was moving up in weight, fighting a fast man who had a terrible left and good movement.

There is no comparison between Floyd and Ricky Hatton. The two should never be in the same sentence, thats an insult to Floyd.
