Oprah is worth about $2.5 billion according to Forbes. She's wealthier than the guy signing Shaq's cheques (Robert Sarver, $400 million) and she's considerably more powerful. Name another American who can make a ****ty novel into a bestseller just by saying they read it.
As I say I'm not denying racism, but it's still old hat to suggest that white people hold all the power in America. Times have changed. And so they should! And Chris Rock trying to justify his continued persecution complex on the grounds that while he is "rich" he isn't "wealthy" doesn't change the fact that he's considerably "richer" than a whitey like me.Comment

The richest man in the world is Carlos Slim, own telmex, and is worth 70billion. My guess would be he roots for Mexican fighters first.Oprah is worth about $2.5 billion according to Forbes. In SPORTS a small minority of people side with athletes because of race. Sports are one of the few places people park that **** at the door. Only IGNORANT fools care about race in sports, moron.Comment
There majority of Caucasians don't root for a fighter because of race and many will favor a non-white to win beat a white because of a guilt complex they suffer from.
The majority of non-white boxing fans will almost always root for the person of color even when that person has a different nationality.
I don't know even 1 black or latino person who will root for a white fighter exclusively the way allot of whites do for mostly blacks. I don't even think I've seen a poster (here and other message boards) who claims to be of color root for the white fighter to win.
I've noticed allot of hate towards white Americans and Europeans because of their race and it's just shrugged off. From Hopkins "white boy" comment to labeling every white fighter coming up a "white hope" or the only reason that Europeans are having such success boxing since the fall of the iron curtain is because the best American boxers are playing "football and basketball."
Hey ******* I was talking specifically boxing. I have favorite athletes of all color. In boxing, like football and basketball, whites are the minority. So it's not uncommon for someone to root for an Ed McCaffrey or Brandon Stokley at reciever, or like the white spot up shooter a little more than if he was black. In golf and baseball this is a non factor b/c whites are the majority. It's not a huge, "Oh go white man beat the blacks." It may be subtle or non existent. Don't be an IGNORANT **** by ignoring all aspects of thought. In team sports I root for my team. In boxing race doesn't matter to me.Comment
