How do you prove yourself at 168?

I have heard twice in two days that Mikkel Kessler has not fought even a B level fighter.

Do people think European fighters are terrible? I don't get it. When someone fights and beats two champions, and collects their belts, and then loses to the undefeated P4P #3 in the world, I am not really sure what more he can do to prove that he has beaten someone.

Kessler does have some big wins:

Manny Siaca - One time WBA Super Middleweight champion. Beat Anthony Mundine.

Anthony Mundine - Two time WBA Super Middleweight champion. Holds wins over Danny Green and Antwun Echols. Considered one of the top talents in the divison (but he enjoys beating up homeless people, so the resume doesn't show it).

Markus Beyer - Three time WBC Super Middleweight champion. Holds wins over, Danny Green (twice) and Omar Sheika.

Who should he have fought other than these people in order to prove that he is good? He fought a decently competitive fight with Joe Calzaghe. He was doing good work in the early rounds before Joe turned it around (like he always does). So seriously, what does a fighter at 168 have to do in order to get respect from American fans?

People that say that Kessler has never beaten anyone don't know what they are talking about and can't see past their own limited USA scope.

You don't prove yourself at 168. To give credit to someone in the 168 division is like paying a compliment to the king of 168, and as we all know, it's a capitol crime to give credit to Joe Calzaghe.

How do you prove yourself at 154? You don't? You either wait for a real fighter to move up from a real division or you go to a real division.. Either that or you slap your way through soft mandatories and old, shot, blown up middleweights when there 100 years old until you have an army of gay fan boys to run around and defend you on the internet.

You obviously know what I think of Kessler. I think he is a very, very good fighter.

I also happen to think he's one-dimensional. He is so dependent on the 1-2, that if it breaks down, he is ****ed. What say you to that?
