I think Williams with proper training and the right gameplan could make beating Floyd look easy one day...hes all wrong for Floyd style wise.

You cant learn how to deal with movement, and make adjustments mid fight over night. He can be 100% focused and make the weight with no issues. When Floyd moves around the ring like Quintana did, Paul will be lost once again. His work rate isnt as effective when his opponent moves, and he definitely has no answers for sharp counter punches.Comment

His punches missed Quitana by mere luck..I was shocked watching that fight. You cant learn how to deal with movement, and make adjustments mid fight over night. Paul simply over looked Quitana..EVERYONE thought he would just steam roll him.
I think Paul struggles with southpaws moreso then just movement....Quitana beat him and Mitchell was landing at will..both south paws.Comment

how do you figure this, floyd has great defense against the jab, i think you're relying too much on his fight with oscar. there's a reason why oscar stopped using it, and floyd is the biggest reason. floyd adjusted to his jab in the later rounds, which is why oscar stopped using it. i have always said, floyd would break williams down to the body, and land crisp lead right hands on williams, why williams struggled to land those 1,000 plus punches on floyd, tiring himself out due to floyd's accurate body punching, like paul did with margarito, he tired himself out in the later rounds. paul said himself that he'd be a fool trying to outbox mayweather, so he could do that, but i would like to see the fight nonetheless, so floyd would whoop on him a little bit on route to an easy win, tko or decison, it's up to paul how he wants to lose.Comment

and seeing how tony's skillset is lacking...pretty much everything needed to beat floyd, he doesn't stand a chance either really. i mean, no fighter from 154 down beats floyd, period.Comment

Margarito would lose..but Floyd would have to fight 36 minutes staright ad if he doesnt or takes a break he'll be in the fight of his life.Comment

I am very big PBF just as you seem to be but you trippin if you don't think a 100% healthy Vernon Forrest doesn't have a very good chance against PBF. I am not saying Forrest would win but that fight is truly PBF biggest challenge to me and that includes Cotto. I think PBF would have a tougher fight with Forrest than Cotto.Comment

Pau Williams jab is long but it isn't strong. He can't keep Floyd away because it doens't have enough snap and Flod would be too fast. 8 to 4 or 9 to 3 in Floyd's favor at any point in P-dubs career.Comment

LOL, u tried to make Floyd sound tough by saying that he "declined a fight to someones face" Oooooh, Scary guy!! The reality is, Floyd never had any intentions to fight him, and never will. This is why......
When Arum made Floyd the $8mil offer to fight Margarito, Floyd had yet to secure an opponent for his ppv date. He then went desperately scrambling for an opponent, when all along, Margarito was the only one willing to step in the ring with him. Not to mention, Margo was the #1 ranked WW at the time. Floyd went looking for fights with Shane (even though Shane had already stated that he will be taking the rest of the year off). He tried to get Oscar in the ring, but Oscar was in retirement mode at the time. He even went as low as to try to secure a fight with Cory Spinks! (Thank god that idea got shut down). Floyd ONLY choices were Margarito, or Baldomir (given Baldo beat Gatti). Floyd crossed his fingers, and prayed to the gods in hope of a Baldomir win. So my question is, if all along he had the option of fighting the #1 ranked WW for a career high payday, why wait, gamble, and risk losing out, in hopes that Baldomir beats Gatti? What would Floyd have done if Gatti won? There is no way on earth Gatti's people or HBO would've let that happen again, so what would Floyd have done? Would he just have let his ppv date go, just so he didnt have to face Margarito? Its definitely something to think about.Comment
