Is Roger Mayweather Overrated Just Cuz Of Floyd?

What is it, like his last 4 fighters have all lost now? I dont understand how some of you consider him the best trainer in the world. Obviously, he knows his **** and he works well with Floyd. But who else has he trained that has actually been successful?

Clearly a trainer is going to get more credit than he deserves if he is training the best fighter in the world. Especially if he took over part way through the career of that fighter.

He trained Steve Forbes to be World Champion.

I think I'm right in saying that Roger doesn't coach many fighters at the same time. He dropped Forbes to concentrate on Floyd.

Is he the greatest in the world: probably not.

He's a world class trainer and deserves his credit.

how you guys think buddy mcgirt would do training oscar to beat floyd?

i say that because he fought pernell twice so he knows exactly what its like to fight an elusive guy with speed and great defense...

honest assessment. i understand floyd is his priority, but currently floyd isnt concentrating on boxing so roger is getting time in with his fighters. unfortunately though, they havent been doing too good.

I think Buddy McGirt is an excellent trainer. A lot of people disagree with me though.

I doubt McGirt would be able to train Oscar to beat Floyd though. The chemisty is there with Mayweather Sr. If Sr. can't do it, no one can IMO.

I also think buddy is a phenomenal trainer, the advice he gives in his corner is always 100% what the fighter needs to hear.

Oh my god, I'm ****ing dying.

You come up with some great one-liners!

I remember what you had Cotto say in a post-fight interview.

"Floyd is a *****. He won't fight me. Next question."
