    Anyone else really enjoy Julio-Smith?

Very good technical fight. I scored it 7-5 for Julio. Smith is a slick as$ dude. Julio might not look as smooth or as sharp, but if you watch close he has a lot of good moves and defense himself. Julio tends to overextend a lot on his shots he should work on that, and Smith needs to throw more punches. Not many clean punches landed by either. Smith landed some nice hooks and Julio did some good body work. Very tough test for Julio, but he passed and now hes on his way. Julio proved he has a lot of technical skills, we already no the power is there. I dont think he will run into many guys like Smith. Hopefully he will get his fight with Verno Phillips. As for Smith, he needs to realize he needs to be more active in the ring. Hes got tons of talent he just needs to get it together.

on a side note, i wouldnt be surprised if Smith tested positive for steroids. Did you see the vains in his arms?

It was a good fight. Smith did look oddly ripped beyond belief. True.

It's usually not a good deal for a power puncher when they run into their first slick boxer.

Power punchers need to be able to connect to do their best work. Slick boxers try first and foremost to make sure their opponent is unable to connect.

I'm always a lot less excited about power punching prospects because of this exactly.

I enjoyed the fight. Good back and forth action at times, measured and calculated stuff. I enjoyed this much more than Feliciano and the other guy last week.

Smith has been ripped like this for awhile. His muscles are quite defined (no****). Since he left the contender he has looked a bit bigger, like he was weight training. Back when he was fighting Bailey he was smaller.

You may want to review your scorecard if you came up with 7-5 in a 10 round fight.
