most of Calzaghe's best names on his record were on the slide before he fought them and the others are made up of average fighters or up and comers

Technically supporting a fighter based solely on their skin colour is racist. It's a choice mad solely on racial grounds.

However I'm not sure its wrong exactly. As long as no-one is getting hurt by that choice then its up to the individual concerned. We can't edit people's thoughts.

Denying someone a job, or punching them, or saying you hate a fighter because of their race, that's the only kind of racism we need to worry about.

I agree with you. I'm white, but it makes me extremely uncomfortable, or sometimes just amused when white people start complaining about racism against them.
