Would be an interesting fight. I'd pick Clottey to win by decision but wouldn't be surprised at a knockout from Clottey.

yea i remember distinctly... he was landing great shots ..threw combinations great.. and was deceptively quick..he stunned margarito once i think too.....after he landed 4-5 punch combination.

Then you could see his hand broke and margarito took over.. and this was half way through the fight.

          I think Clottey whoops berto.
          he bruised his knuckle..

MARGARITO injured his ankle 3 weeks before the fight, this was reported 3 weeks before the fight. the fight was in jeorpardy.. marg was OFF HIS FEET foe three whole days, just three weeks before the fight..

point is that wasnt a 100% percent Marg either, take nothing away from Clottey though but facts are facts.

          Berto UD's Clottey..

When Margarito fights Cotto, he'll be forced to vacate the belt.

i think bertos got one of the, if not THE best jab in the ww division... its unbelievably underrated and overlooked... and so is his power, and his body shots hurt just watching them

This would be the best fight for Berto since Clottey has lapses that he can take advantage of. Not sure who would win now. I need to see Berto fight again.

                Good fight either way.

It will be a big test for berto, if he wins, he'll get a huge boost to a shot at the marg-cotto winner, or even quintana. I say berto by ud

He's also faced guys that were made for him to shine against. His last opponent was the definition of hand picked. Guy looked like he couldn't crack an egg.

Estrada was a good win. Still, he's a C class fighter.
