    anyone who thinks a loss cannot be beneficial to a fighters career should think again.... just look at lennox lewis for example
    The only reason why he started this thread is cause i exposed him as a Calzaghe nuthugger and his had a bee in his bonnet ever since.

      It's because you can't accept the best fighter in Britain is WELSH.

      Hold on to your Haye dreams for now, he will get battered when he fights decent Heavyweights.

        You're a Calzaghe nuthugger with no credibility on here.

        Run along.

          And you're a Haye nuthugger with no credibility on here...

          Calzaghe is a proven fighter who has fought and beaten everyone he has faced while Haye is a cute trash talker with no ****ing chin!

          I know who I would rather nut hug.

            At least Haye is moving up in weight to fight the best after only a few years as a cruiserweight, Calzaghe languished within the safe confines of the super-middleweight division for years when it was all happening at light-heavyweight(compiling wins over such notables as Saiko Bika, Miguel Jiminez, Charles Brewer, etc), finally moving up when the man to beat was 43.

              Haye only challenged Mormeck and Thompson because they were old, he got knocked out by Thompson and sc****d through by the skin of his teeth in the 4th round against Mormeck and then KOed him late when he older legs tired.

                That Frank Warren has hand picked for him to face. Calzaghe has the most padded record this side of mars!

                At least Haye takes risks unlike your boy, who does what uncle Frank tells him to do.

                The way you lick his balls after scrapping past a 43 year old Hopkins is disgusting!!!

                _Ricky_ = P4P#1 Calzaghe nuthugger.

                  yes... imagine if he had won that on pure power. He would've got KO'd later on, it taught him alot and admitadly he was hurt but his chin isn't as bad as everyone says it's his legs that give way when he drains himself.

                    He was a baby when he lost to Thompson, he'd only had 10 fights and he blew his load early. He battered Carl for a couple rounds, gassed out, got stopped. Thompson was a veteran who soaked punishment up like a sponge. Haye has bounced back completely. I dont think you can hold that defeat against him. The real champions are the ones who come back and prove their mettle. Hayemaker did that, and in style.

                    I actually disagree that Mormeck is past it, I doubt we're going to agree on that subject - suffice to say Mormeck was the champion, he isn't an old man (younger than Calzaghe) and he'd just come off a big revenge win against O'Neil Bell. Oh yeah, and he was favourite.

                      Name one "big risk" Haye has took in his career. Mormeck and Thompson were there for the taking while Maccarinelli presented a big pay day.
