Well, if you're of the opinion that Haye has a suspect chin (as I assume you are) his fight with Macca is undoubtedly a HUGE risk, Enzo is a terrific puncher. And as he drained himself so much to make 190 he was fighting virtually every time out with a lot of risk. He went to Mormecks back yard. That was win-or-bust and he was underdog, people are only calling JM shot now, after Haye has conquered him.

Haye said himself that Maccarinelli wasn't in his class, he almost called him a bum. He didn't seem to think he was taking a risk, did he?

I'd like to see someone try and tell me he has took more risks than Calzaghe when he fought Undefeated Mikkel Kessler infront on 50,000 people in a make or break fight for his career.

Haye thinks EVERYONE is a bum. It's part of his shtick to completely trash opponents verbally.

As it was, Macca, in terms of skill, wasn't in Davids class but that fight was 50-50, it was two tremendous punchers going in there to take each other out. An undoubted risk

I love how Calzaghe fans hold Kessler up as some kind of benchmark (Joe himself does). Let's see what Mikkel does now, because an unbeaten record isn't everything. JC Chavez jr is unbeaten and he's a bum. To go unbeaten and pick up some alphabet belts in a division as piss poor as super middleweight (hell its so bad even CALZAGHE had to fight PETER MANFREDO) doesn't mean a whole lot.

I assume, like Lacy, he'll fade into semi obscurity and fight ex-Contender contestants

Thompson - 40 year old or not, Thompson ain't no mug. Haye showed how naive he was in that fight.

Mormeck - He fought the champion in his back yard.

Maccarinelli - 50/50, the winner who landed the first big punch.

Gurov - A lot of people said he'd struggle against this blokes power. He disposed of him in 45 seconds. Won the EBU title.

Thompson - Old man who everyone expected Haye to win easily.

Mormeck - Old good fighter, tired and got knocked out (could have KOed Haye if he had the legs).

Maccarinelli - You said before that it wasn't a 50/50 fight when I claimed it was, I'll dig this up if I need to. You can't change your mind when you feel like *******.

You claimed Maccarinelli was a bum Frank Warren fighter with a padded record and only Frank Warren thought it was a 50/50
                  fight.

I don't even know who the **** Gurov is.

Haye was young , green , arrogant and ignorant in this fight.
It was possibly the best thing that could have happened to him as it spurred him on to take his job a lot more seriously.
And it was more a weight drain stamina issue rather than it ever being a Chin issue.
You also have to remember Carl the Cat Thompson was a hard challenge and renowned for his recuperative powers and stamina himself.
In fact he was lucky that he didn't suffer the TKO himself as Haye had him in dire straits early on.
The Haye of today is a totally different animal to the haye that fought Thompson and should be glorified rather than vilified for the fact he has Unified his Division in double quick time and is willing TO FIGHT THE BEST and not pad his record like other so called Seasoned Champs.
                    Mayweather included.

Mormeck was the favorite in that fight. It's funny how people discredit that win for Haye when people mention Mormecks age. He went to the champions back yard and won.

Could Calzaghe beat any of them fighters at Cruiserweight. Could he ****.

Gurov would've put Calzaghe in a coma!!!

Kessler in Cardiff aint a risk.
