What has Haye done to make them think he can beat Wlad? All of his resume can be broken down and questions can be asked about his opponents yet people still jump on the band wagon proclamining him as the next Heavyweight king. The dude got Knocked out by Thompson ffs.
    Cough:Joe Calzaghe:cough:

Haye is a big character, he makes a lot of noise, he does the business in the ring, the simple fact is that him against Wlad already has some heat under it, its an intriguing fight because of size differences/the can-he?, cant-he? aspect of Haye fighting at HW, the confrontation they had, all kinds of factors.

Wlad-Povetkin and Wlad-Thompson dont have that. Poor fights. Not interesting.

Sure, in an ideal world, Haye should beat someone like Rahman (they already tried to make that fight, I heard Hasim backed out), but thats part of the excitement of this proposed fight. Especially in light of one of the most diabolical HW fights in recent years which was Wlads dismal win over Sultan

Jeff Lacy was, is, and always will be a one-dimensional fighter who has never proved himself, and who barely managed to beat a reality TV star. Period.

Wales still has the two best British boxers ever - FACT.

For a small country we didn't do bad at all, it's a shame you are attached to us and make us look bad .

Chunk - David Haye is a very good prospect and I am looking forward to seeing him at Heavyweight and yes I will be rooting for Haye ( I only vote against the English in Rugby lol ) I guess time will tell if Haye is class or if Enzo was overrated. Haye like Calzaghe have unified there divisions and moved up a weight to take on new challenges but Haye has a lot to do to challenge Calzaghe for Britains best boxer ( I am not saying Haye wont do it but he already has a loss on his record ? )

Haha, that's like me saying Naseem Hamed - greatest featherweight ever -FACT!

Completely subjective, factuality has nothing to do with it, it's an opinion, nothing more.

I agree with your post but a loss on your record doesnt mean you're a weak fighter, Haye for me has done more than Joe C (Without the Hopkins fight), His lost was due to him wanting to challenge himself rather than pad his record...If Haye was with frank warren he would have been 45-0 with NO real challenges on his resume...haye did thing the hard way and i applause him for that.

u having a laugh Calzaghe is a protected species ,Lennox Lewis record makes Joe look like a ****in bum ,Hopkins is the only Elite fighter on his record & he is 43 years old and he stil made the overated Calzaghe look ****in garbage

Lewis is easily a better fighter than Calzaghe just look at who they have beaten u clown

Ricky enjoy the slapman while he is still around cause you'll have to wait how many years to produce another decent fighter but by that time i guess u wil be claiming u are British anyway cause the Welsh will be back to producing the bums like Piper ,Robinson,
