Mayweather was exceptional. The fact remains that Khan's record is decent for a boxer of his experience. If he avoids the big fights in future then I'll agree with you. Khan is only 20 and we might see him fight Casamayor, Katsidis, Diaz, Campbell and even Pacquaio before he turns 23.

Calling him protected right now is a little unfair. If he doesn't step it up in the future then it won't be.

I don't think he can, Khan is not going to be sticking around at lightweight, look at the size of him.
