      Ummm...

      No.

Cotto has beaten Paulie, Zab, Mosley, and Quintana. While that is a "good" list... that isn't remotely close to PBF's. You're ****ing crazy. It's not even a debate.

Cotto doesn't have even 1/2 the resume Mayweather has.

Cotto knocks people out... Floyd doesn't as much. That doesn't mean Cotto's resume is better, it just means that he ko's people.

That means the same people on both resumes, Cotto did a better job!
Name one guy on Floyds resume that can top Mosley who is on Cottos

You do know that before Arum started his **** talking Margarito was already ranked at welterweight and had appeared on HBO more then once, right?

I suppose Hatton's resume was better than PBF's because he ko'd Castillo, right?

And then there are all of the names on Floyd's resume that make it much better. But you'll probably make some facetious argument that Cotto wouldn't knocked 'em out... so that makes it better.

before there was ever talk of margarito challenging mayweather this man was on hbo fighting lewis and kyvelos. he was getting his name out there in the us and all the mexican boxing fans already knew this man. all arum was doing was trying to offer enough money to make him overcome his fear of margarito. sadly a career high payday of $8 million was not enough and i dont think there is enough money in the world to make mayweather fight margarito.

the guys that cotto beat he fought maybe a year or so after mayweather fought them. not 6 years later like hatton against castillo. plus mayweather doesnt have the power to ruin any fighters so if cotto fought someone a year later they are not going to be any worse.
