    Please.

I've spoken to Arum several times about Margarito-Floyd, most recently at the Guzman-Soto bout.

Listen dude, I don't know what you think but I wrote a pretty extensive article two years ago voicing my displeasure over Floyd's unwillingness to fight Margarito. Very detailed, going over facts and a lot of things people were overlooking at the time.

HOWEVER...I won't support fallacy. While I believe Floyd avoided Margarito, there were no concrete offers prior.
hey man i dont even know who the hell you are but you obviously dont follow boxing close enough if you dont know how to seperate plain and basic common sense facts from lies. i dont care if you write articles or not but you are just a fan like the rest of us. you dont know what offers are being given so we can only go by what the fighters let us know. floyd mayweather has acknowledged that a margarito fight has been offered to him by arum and he has come up with many excuses to avoid this man. not once has he ever denied that arum offered him $8 million. not a single time. that is how i know this is true. its just plain and basic common sense.

do yourself and the boxing scene a favor and just educate yourself. stop trying to defend a coward who has taken fights with mitchell for $4 million and judah for $5-6 million when he could have fought the baddest man in the planet for $8 million plus ppv revenue.

This is the same guy who protected Cotto from Floyd for years when Mayweather wanted that fight.

Ask him now and he'll give you a whole story about how Floyd is scared to face him, etc...

and I cant believe everything you say either. why would he lie, he was promoting Floyd at the time. Arum = more credible then IMDAZED, who comes into boxingscene.. lol

You're an idiot. The baddest man on the planet? Objective, much?

Yeah he fought Mitchell and Judah when he should've fought Margarito. In fact, that was the point of my piece. But there was NO concrete offer made prior to the Mitchell bout. Educate YOURSELF.

Til the last 3 rounds like he did against shane mosely......

prally till the last 4 rounds with marg... because marg will be alot more active and maybe hitting just as hard as shane mosely... plus the great chin.

Arum and Diaz say that the 'Pretty Boy' was offered in the neighborhood of $7 million to face Margarito. In what could best be described as a 'business move', the same guy who brazenly challenged the bigger Winky Wright decided to bypass Margarito, to collect nearly $4 million to spar with Sharmba Mitchell.

look how much mayweather was offered when the coward chose to fight mitchell. it is from bob arums mouth and this was before that chicken bought out his contract with arum. why would arum like about a fighter he is promoting?? that doesnt make plain and basic common sense. if you cant understand the article i just posted then its sad that you are a writer and you cant read better than a mexican who learned english as a second language.

I agree. just that if you are quick AND can box.. it p[uts Marg at a disadvantage.. we'll see how it plays out.

It makes perfect sense when you and the fighter are beefing and that fighter has told you that he can and WILL leave you given the opportunity. It puts pressure on said fighter and also allows the promoter to keep power in his hands by pitting him against another stablemate. Plan and basic common sense.

This is Bob Arum we're talking about here. Like I said, the same Arum who REFUSED to let Floyd fight Cotto when that was the ONLY match at 140 Floyd wanted aside from Gatti. Instead, Arum gave him Cotto's sparring partner. The same Arum who can't stop talking about how Floyd wants no part of Cotto.

Look, I'm of the opinion Floyd wanted no parts of Margarito. He had not even fully settled into 147 - why would he face the division's longest reigning champ? But I also think a healthy part of it was due to money- a little more than risk.
