James Toney fought everybody, winning titles from Middleweight to Heavyweight...
honestly, look at the people hes beaten. and Toney always had more skills than Hopkins anyway, his downfall was his conditioning. thats one thing Hopkins always had going for him...he always came into shape.

Im assuming were talking about their careers in general, right?

I think people are insane to vote for James Toney.

I voted Hopkins but ment to vote for Toney.

Toney had better skills then Hopkins and was more succesfull.

Just because Popkins has an ugly fighting style, it doesn't mean he has less skills, you guys are naive and relate skill to flash. Very different things.
Popkins (prime) was a more consistent fighter and I'd pick him any day to beat Toney.

Let's put it this way. If James Toney had Bernard Hopkins' dedication he would be top 5 greatest fighter of all time.

He has more legitimate wins. Oscar and Trinidad had no business at 160.. and those are the wins that put him on the map. Toney beat legitimate fighters at his weight.. Legitimate and talented fighters at his weight. He ended up beating guys like Holyfield and Jirov who were at least twice his natural size.
