And with a name like that you're the leading expert on subjective predictions when RJJ fights......

Get some credibility and actually consider it, then post your INFORMED views rather than boring us all with the same bull**** everyone else is saying.

Also, the fact you think Calzaghe has a wife proves how unreliable your opinion on anything JC truly is.....

To say you are clueless would be a grave understatement.

The guy has lost twice to Antonio Tarver. Roy Jones is a great but two defeats to the **** bag that is Antonio Tarver...is embarassing. Jones also fought tarver for the second time when he was 35. I cant ever imagine Calzaghe losing to any version of Antonio Tarver let alone Johnson and Montel Griffin...a disqualification is still a loss.

Prime for prime, this is a close fight, no matter how you put it.

well you just ruined any chance you had of arguing with me because I am a Hopkins hater are far as this site is concerned. I have hated him almost his entire career, rooted Tarver and Wright against him. I even said several times before the fight I dislike Calzaghe and Hopkins and the good thing is somebody HAS to lose. Nice ****ing try newbie

              yes, because this Roy Jones...

is the same is this Roy Jones...

I cant even believe you said the bolded. Jones got DQed after he knocked his opponent out. youre really going to use that against him in a head to head matchup? geez.

I dont mind if someone says that Calzaghe would beat Jones, but at least come up with worthwhile reasons why.
and please, we need to narrow down when Calzaghe's prime was. not a lot of people seem to agree, even though he looked his best against Lacy and Kessler...

The 2000 version of Roy would have blasted him out in 10 rounds making him look amateurish looking a lost boyscout in the wooods.

This current version of Roy is just gunshy enough to win by some sort of a decision. From what I've seen of Joe, I don't expect what he did in the Hopkins fight to work agains RJJ at all.

From what I've seen of Roy against Tito, he has adjusted his style using his jab more and covering up more. It's the right style for him at this age to still do some damage.

well the thread poster is unfair to put up light heavywieght bouts as a example because joe was at his prime at super middlewieght and so was jones to be honest.
But its a 50/50 fight it could go either way.
