  • Dude it does put in question your character because your already seriously at odds with most ppl's views on this, and with most on this forum, frankly being rude, cynical, dismissive of anything but your view, and rubbing people up the wrong way. So if anyone needs reminding it's boxing talk it's you.

Your laughing at the majority whoms view is indifferent to yours, saying they don't know how to score fights. Can you even fathom how ridiculous that is? You ironically say you can't take them seriously, the judges, commenators, majority of viewers even American whom scored Joe winning. Dude, your the one whom can't be taken seriously with your relentless I'm right attitude, taking nothing else into consideration that may not suite your version of events.

I scored the fight 115, 112, kind of score most did, even on a poll on this site, it was the most picked. So your saying all those ppl aswell are wrong, and your right. It's a little rude to all those, and delusional, to think you in the minority are correcting everyone else.

I'll be watching it again though. I'm not getting into name dropping because we have all lived it over the past week enough without me wanting to waste time on a cynical argumentative fella on a forum. There's more hope in making a passionately ill informed child realise WWE is not real, then wasting time with you. It's your war, no one elses. On your head be it.

I suggest you take a chill pill, and some herbal tea. I hear there's brands that help ease mild forms of delusional, impulsive, insanity. Best of luck with it, your in deep.

Why not bring a touch of "reason" and fact to all this misinformed animosity. Even plain print seems to difficult to decipher???

Hopkins began his career technically as a Cruiserweight, at 177 lbs- a bare 2 lbs over the light-heavy limit. (I'm rubbing it in here a little) His next 5 fights were DEFINITELY at Super middle, not much under 168. Not one of them was CLOSE to 160. From his NEXT fight after those, he began to fight as a middle weight. And I never believed that hopkins would ever see the day when he'd be cpapble of beating Roy Jones, at any stage in their careers. Even the later, "better" Hopkins, against the early, inexperienced Jones.

The guy is entertaining. He wasn't at his best against B-Hop.

You need to reconsider why you follow the sport.

Calzaghe has a great work rate. Is entertaining.

A good ambassador for the sport.
          Please...........get real.

The guy fights like a fairy prancing around. He has no rhytm and looks like a ***** fighting his way out of spider webs (something I will keep reminding people of). It is effective and he winning but lets not get **** twisted.

Joe Calzaghe looks just a lil bit better style wise in there then Carlos Maussa. But in terms of watching these guys fights and appriciating their fighting style, they're the same to me.

He plans to take them into consideration before making any final decision as to a possible retirement. [details]
Calzaghe is releasing the pain of obscurity. It's a tough thing for a top professional in their field. Now that he feels there is a spotlight present he has to let some of the demons out.

              • your kidding your self too, hey look here I follow the sport I've been watching calzahge fight for some time but when a 43 year old man like hopkins was able to put him on his ass the 1st round Imagine what glen johnson or chad dawson will be able to do. Against guys who have great work rate like him self. chad and glen can take a punch and hit alot harder than hopkins.

Your clearly not that up on it, your comparing chalk with cheese almost. Over the years you should know Hopkins and Calzaghe were always going to be a massive style clash then. With Hopkins super ring intelligence, defence, countering alone being things Joe does not deal well with. He prefers someone to come forwards like even Johnson or RJJ, that's the point, so he'd look better, and perform better against them.

Joe's also got a very tough chin, just watch the Kessler fight, it would have fazed possibly even floored some fighters, he went on un fazed. Your lack of comparing fighters for even 5 of the factors within a fighter, in this sport, is incredible.

                  • Technical Skill,

Here is the difference between being a good poster and a bad poster, between being respected and being seen as an idiot:

                    Good Poster:

"I think Hopkins won, I know most people don't but that's just the way I scored it. Here's why..."

                    Bad Poster:
