All you Americans do is make excuses when Joe Calzaghe wins. Roys not his former self, blah blah blah. Then what American should Calzaghe fight without you Americans hating on him...
Calzaghe shouldnt waited until he was 36 to come to America.

    Trinidad
    Tarver
    RJJr.
    Winky
    Taylor
    Miranda
    Pavlik
    James Toney
    Hopkins

Joe missed his chance....he'll never amiunt to anythig in the history books because even if he beats a 39 year old Roy......who ****ing cares???...

He lost to Hopkins who was 43 and put Calz on his ass.

    Joe Calzage is a fraud.

There is a differene between fighting over 40 of your 45 fight in Cardiff, Wales and fighting all over the United States of America.

It's not like Roy only fought in Florida, his home state.

America is a big place you know. We're talking New York on one side and Las Vegas on another and all kinds of states in between.

Comparing Joe to Roy in that department is ridiculous.

To his credit, Joe tried to get fights over here years ago, and they wouldn't have him.

But better late than never. Jones UD. Y'all musta forgot...

i made a highlight video of what his hands are still capable of doing... it doesnt matter who hes fighting... this is what roys body is still capable of outputting

i put all his jabs first.. then all his right hands... then all his left hooks... then his defense... and the last 5mins is ALL his combos....

You think that Roy will beat Calzaghe. Therefore if you are a reasonable person, a JC win will make you rate him higher than you do now. So clearly it is worth something.

When should he have fought Trinidad? When Tito was tearing up the 168 division and calling him out? Oh yeah, I remember that.

When should he have fought Toney? When JC was still a young prospect with hardly any fights? Yeah I'm sure Toney would've took that fight. Or maybe Calzaghe should fought him at heavyweight, since that's where he has been for years now.

Miranda is a guy who got beat at middleweight twice and has done nothing to deserve a shot. I'm sure people would've given him more credit for beating Miranda than beating Hopkins and Kessler, right?

Pavlik shows no signs of wanting to fight Calzaghe. And why should he? He is a middleweight. Taylor is only coming to 168 now, and I'm pretty sure that fighting a guy who is coming off 2 defeats is a less than an impressive example of how good you are.

Your boxing knowledge seems somewhat limited. You're just throwing random names out there.

Roy is so flat-footed now. It'd be nice (but unlikely) to see him get those legs back.

thats because he hasa different style now that suits his age... its smarter for him to be more flat footed at this stage to conserve his stamina
