I voted for mayweather, id go for 115-113 but I really think cotto has a great chance. If floyd uses his legs he'l win, if he fights like he did against hatton, which is standing his ground more and relying on his defensive shell I can see him losing and possibly getting stopped.

Which Is why I think atleast 50% of Cotto fans are smart. I mean we all saw the polls for Hatton and Oscar fights, in the Oscar fight 48% out of 100 picked Oscar to win, and most by KO. In the Hatton fight atleast 40% picked Hatton to win, But I think people have got tired picking against Floyd...I always thought the Hatton and Oscar fanboys (Extreme ones) were a bit weird but out of that group I think Cotto's is most sensible.

Not saying they are only "sensible" because they are picking Floyd but when they vote for him they also explain as why Floyd will beat their fighter whereas the cotto fans who pick cotto never explain properly why Cotto will win all you see is:

Okay we have had enough threads about this fight but this thread is the one that I will keep bumping until they eventually fight. Lets say they fight in 2009...Who do you think will win the fight? You can root for Cotto or Floyd but THAT is not the question...The question is plain and simple.

Cotto keeps his left too far from his body..and leans forward too far over his feet..that's why he can't see right hands and uppercuts for ****..

Floyd is better on the outside and inside..

I hope Forbes make Oscar looks so bad it kills all interest in the Floyd rematch..

Bro let's not forget that Corley hurt Cotto much more significantly than he did to FMJr. Cotto was given a gift stoppage by the ref in Puerto Rico (Even the HBO commentators were saying so.) Who watched this fight live because I did. I'm not sure if it still up but it was posted on youtube. Corley hurt Cotto on numerous occasions, Cotto as he does when he gets hurt hit Corley with some low blows to turn the tide. Corley took a knee to collect himself and the ref stopped the fight. FMjr. which is frustrating to me ( as to why he is ducking him) would beat Cotto decisively. Mosley was tagging Cotto with overhand rights which is a much slower and loopier punch then FMjr. money punch his right hand lead. Cotto is also very susceptible to the uppercut which a lot of of his more recent opponents have not been utilizing. I was screaming for Mosley to use it in his fight with Cotto. Watch the second you tube video that an earlier poster posted FMjr. has one of the best uppercuts in the biz and you know he will use his. He is the smartest fighter on the planet and uses the right punch and the right time better than any fighter that I have seen in quite a while.
Now Cotto has improved steadily, his jab has improved and he can box and slug it out well, he is just not FMjr. Pressure fighters with iron chin and will have the best chance against Floyd and that is not Cotto's style as he is a very measured fighter who systematically beats down his opponents. If he tries to crowd FMjr. he will get tagged by Floyd's quick accurate body shots and uppercuts (his inside game is very underatted) I just want to see this fight already, Floyd quit the bull**** and give the fans the fight that they want!!!! Pray for Forbes to upset DLH

After Floyd beats Oscar again & Cotto next. Haters will claim that Floyd is a bum thats ducking Carlos Quintana.

anyway, this is just another thread ill bump when a Floyd fan says, "everyone thought so and so was supposed to beat Floyd". more proof that Floyd fans are a bunch of liars.
