The only other way I can think of is Cotto winning a decision with his jab, because it is sharp as ****. It would be a replay of the Oscar fight concerning the jab (that is, if he is doing well enough with it to win a decision in the first place, I'm not sure his jab would be one that would confuse Mayweather like Oscar's did).
***I cant imagine Floyd getting HIT with one of those left hooks to the body...period...let alone flush.

***Cotto doesnt have Oscars skill, height or reach...Cotto doesnt even use his jab that much....Mayweather can time Cottos jab and beat him to the punch all night.

What I think will win Floyd this fight..is defense man.

    Its untouchable.

Floyds just on another level right now...something truly special.

Well to be fair, more people voted for Mayweather and only Vlad303 gave any details on how he was going to win.

cotto by knockout in the last fight of floyds career.
he will fade away amid many excuses, which will be to bad because a guy with a career like his shouldnt have to make any excuses at this point.

You should watch a Cotto fight or two. "Cotto doesnt even use his jab that much"

You asked the ways Cotto can win, and I outlined them. Whether they are probable or not is another story.

Keep in mind that no one expected the Oscar jab to be the x-factor in their fight, it was supposed to be the left hook. It could be the same for this fight.

Also, since you can't imagine Floyd getting hit with a left hook to the body from an A fighter, could you imagine Floyd getting nailed with an overhand shot from a B fighter in Corley? Anything is possible.

He has taken body shots like a ****ing beast. He is one of the only fighters I have ever seen that hasn't reacted negatively to a body shot.

But, Roberto Duran took head shots well until he ran into Tommy Hearns.

I think it would be one of those things, because Cotto's left hook to the body is on another level from pretty much anything else in the sport, let alone anyone on Floyd's resume to this point. Castillo's body shots at 135 are not even in the same universe as Cotto's body shots at 147.

              Do you agree?

Cotto can't win via ko/tko cause there are Michael Jordan rules in effect when Mayweather is in the ring. If you touch Mayweather it's a foul. So Cotto will probably win by a close/split decision simply because he will be throwing more leather. Kind of like Zaghe vs Bhop actually. Mayweather is not the guy at 135 or 140 who used to throw combos off missed shots. He is potshoting now, kind of like Bernard.

Cotto uses his jab...but hes not Winky Wright or Ike Quartey...thats what I was trying to say.

Floyd was caught flush PLENTY of times aginst Judah..because Judah is faster..Cottos not half as fast as Judah.

Its funny that people mention Cottos power..but I think if its a KO in this fight it'll be Floyd KOing Cotto....by some punch that Cotto will never see coming..Cotto makes too many mistakes and is too flawed to beat a Floyd Mayweather.

He only potshots when hes fighting someone bigger then him..Oscar AND Baldmir.

He walked Hatton down and beat the **** out of him..Cotto is is shorter and has a shorter reach then Mayweather...Floyd will beat the **** out of him the same way....maybe worse....Hatton made Floyd uncomfortable at times..Cotto is that relentless and reckless with his pressure tactics like Ricky was.

That's ture. Cotto has shown himself to be a very accurate fighter.

Against Malignaggi, who was used to outboxing guys for the full 12 rounds he landed alot busting him up.

Joel Julio, a undefeated power puncher tried all night to land something on Quintna and couldn't. Cotto did it in 6 rounds. P.Williams couldn't even win.

                      Nothing is impossible.
