Why did Duran quit against Leonard????

a few years after the fight i read i believe in ring magazine one of durans cornerman said that he had eaten
a steak before the fight and had **** his pants after a blow to the stomach
from leonard.

Duran's cousin admitted they came up with the cramp story to save face..

I doubt it seriously you'd believe Ray if he claimed he lost the first fight because of a damn steak..

Man **** Duran he simply said, "No Mas" So as a 90 to present fan of boxing, this fight took place before my exposure to the sport in 87-88 iwas born in 86... EDUCATE ME... I mean this **** happen almost 20-25 yrs ago and we dont know what really happen yet.. Liston supposedly tanked in the Ali rematch, and many look at his career as controversey, Tyson killed guys unlike anyone before or after him but because they were supposed bums and smaller fighters.. and because he only lost 5 times, 3 to the other greats in his era his not a top 50 ATG. So in contrer Duran tanked in a rematch and fought alot of pointless fights as well a few head ****ers.. and some headliners against Leonard, Hagler and Hearns in which he lost all of those (cept 1) and that says he's great then them?

Lou Bizzaro, Leoncio Ortiz, Edwin Viruet, Emiliano Villa.. **** after the Heanrs and Hagler fights a 77-6 Duran fought a 1-3 fighter now what great you know do that type of ****. Jorge Fernando Castro what a joke.. and alot of fighter on his resume Duran has a questionable charecter, resume and line of quality work in my eyes... his a QUITTER
