Duran was one of the greatest fighters of all time, he was deeply affected by his fans turning away from him after the Leonard fight, the emotion he showed after beating Davey Moore was evidence of this.
The stomach cramp excuse is actually believable because Leonard admitted he wanted to fight Duran as soon as possible after the first fight because there were reports that Duran had ballooned up to over 200 pounds in between fights, losing so much weight quickly could explain the stomach cramps.Comment

Even if he goes to a gym. Big deal. I go to a gym all the time. I've never been in a professional boxing fight, and neither has he. So, he has no room to talk. He's simply a Monday morning quarterback, with what seems like a lack of common sense.Comment
