His power wasn't devastating before, and it'll be even less of a problem for fighters at 175. He didn't sit down on his punches against Bhop and he won't against the likes of Tarver or Dawson. He should go back to 168 where his power is still respectable and fight Pavlik. Not to mention he'd be quicker at 168 too. For a fighter built on speed, he loses his biggest asset by going up in weight.

Those quick flurries also help him to win and steal rounds. Even with adding muscle I don't think his punches will be that heavy.
Not if he adds the right kind of muscle, adding a little on his biceps and shoulders shouldn't slow him down and should help him.

Apart from Jones, name the last fighter who looked good against Hopkins. Answer, no one.
Pretty much sumed it all up!

Brittle, not Marshmallow. Watch his earlier fights when he could sit down on punches, he could **** a bit then. His style now protects his hands, but eliminates an awful lot of power
