Just confirmed with Curtis McCormick (the author of that Joe Calzaghe article):
"i did write that article when i was a writer on **********.com. joe did say that about roy in the interview for the basis of that article.

Calzaghe is a total flake and a flip flop.

Hopkins had more ring smarts in his late 30's but he also threw 3 times as many punches when he was younger, he has always been an accurate puncher. Zaghe would lose if he tried to **** with that version of Hopkins, he'd get taken to school if he fought B-Hop when he was 35-39

For me Calzaghe beats that Bernard easy. A huge amount of what Bernard was able to do on saturday was based around physical strength and size. His clinching and countering was all based on it.Last edited by CaRnAgEViOLaToR; 09-08-2008, 04:09 PM.
