Not enough to really hurt him, but clearly left him stunned a few times, slowing down, losing effectiveness, his breath, and just not as able to war Joe.

Hops face is rarely that marked. Joes fckin hard and wasn't really ever that hurt, sorry, he says aswell, flash knockdown, and not particularly hurt. I trust him over Hops any day. Besides, Joe landed some not so hard punches on Kessler and Lacy that managed to mark them, but don't Nards odd face.
Hopkins at 43 got tired how hard is that to understand , the punches from Joe took nothing out of him but the pace of the fight did and it showed in the latter half , your claims are so flip flop , Cal hurts Lacy and Kessler so you deduct that he must have hurt Bhop , logic says for him to hurt Bhop he must land clean and he didnt as we all seen with our own eyes , Hopkins is an expert at slipping punches and can take the power of them at the last 2 inchs of the shot with a slight turn of the head ,, then you say you trust Joe over Hopkins ,, wtf is that , you dont know either apart from the orchestrated and edited media reports , thats really a silly statement and from a fan of one of them it wounldn't be biased would it , favoritism needs to be kept in check when your trying to make a case of reason .

exactly my point it was calzaghe that wore him out and you can make excusses all you want but what or who did bernard beat when he was 36?welterweights and mediocre middlewights, calzaghe has a better resume than hopkins and is and always was a better boxer than hopkins.

Not according to the Hopkins fans. They made it seem like his nose was hanging from his face and gallons of blood were pouring everywhere.

What excuses , Im not making excuses and I think he got beat fair and square , Im just not putting Joe on a pedestal like some are trying to do , elite fighter yes ATG no , in my view if he was an ATG he would have stopped Bhop at this stage of Bhops career because I feel if you reversed the ages Bhop would stop him ,, Im too old to blow sunshine mate , you got to earn it with me as the hype I see falls on deaf ears .

what was wrong with joe's face?
Aside from his nose looking like he walked into a telephone pole? I'd say it was the unicorn horn growing out of his forehead.

                      Good fight.

Had it for Hop by the KD and pretty much saw all else pretty even (more or less). From ringside it looked like Hops slipped most, that Joe threw (let alone landed_ a lot less than Compucrox is stating, but who knows...and who cares.

This looked far from a JT-like performance for Hop, but like I said, I saw it from ringside. I can live with Joe winning by a point or a draw, but 116-111 was atrocious. He just wan't landing punches, and everything of note was being landed by Hopkins. You could hear the shots landing from off-floor.

                      All good.
