A prime Morales had everything, speed, power, incredible stamina and an unbelievable will to win.

I think he outpoints Floyd to a close UD.
Morales had that X-factor that makes a fighter great.
He knows how to win when you don't expect him to.

Just the possibility of this bout made my mouth water. Morales can box and brawl and so can Floyd. It would be a masterful and brutal bout.

Floyd wins by UD. Floyd was at his best at 130. This is the weight where he had 80% of his big wins. Manfredy, Corrales,Hernandez,Chavez all went down to Floyd, Morales would be game but outboxed and lose 116-112.

Incidentally, it is at 130 where I have nothing but outmost respect for Floyd. He was was a beast in this weight, he actually went out and tried to punish guys and stood toe to toe with guys.

in no shape or form was El Terrible near prime when he entered 130. You could even make a case that his prime was left at 122 when he was blitzing through guys like Zaragosa, Jones and then his first war with Barrera.

Mayweather would have to work a bit but in the end he would be too much of everything for Erik.

in a p4p sense it could be closer but considering Erik liked to keep people at the end of his punches rather than work inside. Mayweather could keep the distance in his preference while Erik could walk into something ala Chico.
