9-3? I don't think so. That's just you agreeing with whoever has the best score trying to support your arguement.
I'm outa here for the night. Later.

I'm afraid your argument there has been debunked.
There is a difference between throwing fast accurate "eye catching" punches that have the potential of hurting you like RJJ and slapping pitty patting fasts shots to score points.

If they didn't show the punch stats, I wouldn't have noticed that Joe landed as much he did because A) Hopkins had no mark on him and B) I didn't see Joe land **** all night.

I had it 9-3 at the most, possibly with a couple of rounds even.

Taylor barely did anything against Hopkins. He was looking to counterpunch the counterpuncher, and Jermain looked terrified pretty much all the way through those fights. Him and Bernard were just stood there, staring at each other. The difference is Joe took the fight to Hopkins and forced him to him work faster than he has ever had to work before, but at the same time, it's the worst Joe's looked in his entire career. This is purely down to Hopkins' style, and I give him credit for being a difficult bastard to deal with.

Winky was extremely concerned about Hopkins' head before their fight. He spoke out on it, and what do you know, he's headbutted in the 2nd round and cautious for the rest of the fight. Joe was concerned with the exact same thing happening, and it's obvious why he didn't fight his best fight when you have a big guy running at you head first with every punch thrown. Even without his A-game, he still won, though. Ugly fight, but a win is a win and Joe did his thing.

It's incredible to see how much bitterness surrounds this win. Hopkins showed a complete lack of sportsmanship and his fans show no class whatsoever. Deal with it and move on.

          A) Dark skinned guys don't usually show bruises. B) Hurtful body shots don't show up on the face.

Hopkins is also a bit past his prime to say the least. He should have been able to touch him more.

Did they allow the Calzaghe slappin' in this fight too?

              Stop right there Cowboy.

Lets get one thing clear, Hopkins was not on his A game and Joe was on his A + game throwing and throwing. The difference is, Hopkins aint no Jeff Lacy and he had more dimensions then Kessler did.

The only problem......Hopkins could have used some of that youth that Kessler had. Those old arms were worn out.

Move on dude, seriously, this is sad. You are clutching at straws big time. No disrespect, I value your opinion, but this is getting boring.

The only sad thing is you saying that Hopkins is too dark skinned to see the marks on his face.

You have moved on for me and I made my point.
