I think you've largely invented that Terrible, or at least exaggerated. Ricky was right and did say those things, and hasn't really discredited Hops that much, to the contrary of what you've said. He's asked to substantially prove otherwise with quotes and you haven't been able to. Perhaps your just looking at the avatars of Joe and inventing this mindset.

perhaps im looking at threads made by him where he takes Hopkins record apart and discredits every good win he is had while in the process talking up the Lacy & Kessler wins etc

im not not sad enough to go trwaling the archives to find evidence to present it to u or Ricky he knows what he has been saying & so do i

and in all fairness u have 100+ posts so its obvious u dont frequent this forum very often so your opinion is not very substantial IMO

I've never claimed Calzaghe has a better resume than Hopkins but yes, I have discredited Hopkins' wins over ODLH and Trinidad in the past. I think his biggest wins are Johnson and Tarver.

Moving up a weight class, fighting in the states for the first time and after being knocked down in the first round he went on to beat Hopkins easily and Hopkins is 12-0 (8) against southpaws... It's not the same as Taylor and Jones winning because they're not southpaws, Calzaghe deserves a lot more credit than he is getting for this win.

Ricky, it's a lost cause man, he's NEVER going to get the credit he deserves and probably be seen as an overrated limey.
