just as expected, de la hoya dominates the poll numbers. 4 people think that forbes will actually pull an upset decision, anyone else giving stevie a chance, or he's a dead man walking?

I think he has little to no chance of wining, but even if he did pull it off I bet the judges wouldn't give it to him.

There is much too much money riding on De La Hoya -vs- Mayweather II.

The story behind Steve "Two Pounds" Forbes, and Oscar "giving back" by fighting on HBO in 7 years, is, for the most part, Ingenius Promoting. Should Steve Forbes not be content with his check after all the deductions are made, he'd tell De La Hoya he wants in on GBP, or he'll tell the world how he was paid to take a huge dive, even though the contract will have a fine print saying he can't sue Golden Boy.

De La Hoya must win to Challenge for Mayweather's WBC 154lb title.

I like everything bout the forbes story but no he can't win this fight, too small. I heard throught the g**** vine he had major problems with the physical strength and speed of ricky hatton in sparring, so I think it will be oscar on a shutout up until the knock out. Good on forbes though, good pay day and im sure he can win a world title again at a lower weight

I'm really torn on this one.

On the one hand, how could you not want to see "2 Pound" win this one? It would mean so much to him, his wife and his family. I would feel really good about Forbes winning this, for obvious reason.

On the other hand, you look back at Mayweather/De La Hoya and you see how well Oscar did early, without the training of Floyd Sr. As a boxing fan I think it's impossible to say you wouldn't want to see the fight unfold as it should: With Floyd Sr. in Oscar's corner. It would make for a really entertaining scenario IMO.

I have no idea about this one, I want both guys to win.

oscar is going to KO forbes... forbes is too small.

Plus Floyd sr. used to train forbes and knows how to defeat him.

That was the worst Countdown show i can remember. Even worse than Vargas-Mosley.

...and 58% of the show was about the damn mayweather clan.
