My dad Truth Sr. said the same thing. He said he wasn't impressed by Joe. I give him credit for the Lacy win, Hopkins win and Kessler. Now lets sign RJJ vs. JC today.

The people in that arena knew who calzaghe was, they didn't boo him when he came out. The only person who got boo'd is that racist clown you know who. The crowd cheered for Calzaghe, and no one cheered for Hopkins. I was shocked because I thought the American fighter was going to bring more fans, guess no ones a fan of racists

I think he's great at what he does and he wins, so there's not a lot you can take away from him. His style is just really not for me.

The worst performance I have ever seen, anyway, even when you take into account that he was fighting some champion at a totally different weight division from what he is used to.

The American fans that are ignorant (and there are not many of them) and who will only be judging him on last night's performance will think he is just decent, at best.

Come on! His worst ever performance? he just beat Hopkins in Vegas!

I agree he didn't look fantastic, but non-one ever has against Hopkins. He managed to beat Hopkins (in most people's eyes) more convincingly than anyone else ever has, with the exception of RJJ.

I think Joe won over a lot of US fans, who always knew the challenges Joe would face and what to expect from a Hopkins match and respect Joe for grinding out the win.

I think its just us Brits who think he looked bad, we've been spoiled by Joe in recent fights and we expect him to dominate everybody. I did it myself.

Lets give him another fight at LHW before we condemn him as finished.

Unfortunately its hard to look good against Hopkins. Im an American and I was already a fan of his, but I doubt he won over any fans with that fight.

A lot of it had to do with Hopkins' D, but damn! I really don't know what anyone sees in Joe, besides him being from the UK, like a lot of people on here. After last night, I can see a huge difference between American and British boxing.

I think people like him because he is normally so, so quick and because he has been a World Champion for well over a decade.

I also loved his emphatic victories over Kessler, Eubank, Lacey and Reid.

I agree that he was truly awful last night, though, even if he is the new Light-Heavyweight World Champ.

He can look as bad as he wants in beating Hopkins, but the fact remains that he beat Hopkins, in vegas. Anybody who doesn't understand what he acheived is not a fan worth having in the first place.

I love him and I am so proud of what he achieved last night against one of the greatest boxers on the planet, but do I think American fans will love him because of last night?

                    No.

That is all I am saying.

Honestly? Who gives a ****. He beat lacy, but lacy ws over-rated. He beat Kesser, but Kessler is just another Euro bum. He beat Hopkins, but it was not convincing. Joe has got the US home soil win that he wanted. Lets get him back to the UK for a good fight against Jones. The icing on the cake can be a final show with Pavlik.
