I just thought it was ****** of Hopkins to say that, it bothered me a little bit. I think he brought in race where it had no purpose and this is kind of the result of it. Some may use it as an exucuse to talk racist bull**** but I view it as an opportunity to laugh at a comment Hopkins made and couldn't back up.

It is a fact that Calzaghe wanted to fight both Hopkins and Jones Jr. though at the time id have think Calzaghe would never come to the states and fight them. That's why I'm critical of Hopkins' comments though, when he incorporated race into the fight, he makes brought it in and that means others see it as being relevant too, and they then share their ideas of race, which range from ignorant to racist and ******ed.

There are a few racists in this forum that have trouble dealing with the fact that Calzaghe won. They are the same ones who had trouble dealing with Pavlik's decision win over Taylor.

Some people deeply believe whites are inferior boxers, but in reality race has nothing to do with it.

Generally speaking, whites are inferior boxers. Gentically blacks are more athletic than whites, and gentically, whites are more intelligent than blacks.

Of course, it can always come down to an individual bases.
