Well what would have made this even better is had Hopkins actually won but got robbed because of his racist statements.

If you need to hang your hat on Calzaghe beating a worn-out 43 year old Hopkins, then have at it.

All racial nonsense aside, all last night showed me is that Bernard Hopkins was the better fighter during their respective eras....and that Roy Jones would have humiliated Joe.

...That's utter horse****. You can't draw anything from Joe not completely blowing Bernard out. Hopkins style is ugly and it's the type of style that drags his opponents down with him. Age has nothing to do with it and Cal would have beat his ass at any time. Hopkins doesn't rely on quickness and fleet feet. He relies on a cagey defense and winning by hook or by crook. His best tactics are the dirty ones and that doesn't diminish with age. I do think that Roy stands a better chance due to his speed. Still, Roy's chin and his blow out loses put him behind Cal on the GOAT list at this point.
