Your love for Dawson reminds me on Pantera2000's love for Miranda. It's going to really hurt you when Diaconu KOs Dawson with a hard right.

He completely abandoned his height and great boxing advantage. He tried to bring the fight to Johnson when he was suppose to be keeping him at bay, tying up and timing Johnson coming in. I know that he will be smarter next time around because being in with a ring veteran like Johnson will only do him good. If the Dawson that fought Adamek showed up, then he would have beaten Johnson handily because he didn't fight on the inside. He went to the body and quickly got back out. Not trading with Adamek and give him his chances to win the fight.
      I'll be honest with you,

I thought that Dawson looked like a million bucks against Adamek but then Johnson just whooped on him for the last 4 rounds despite being 39. I think he might have even taken out smth of Dawson.
As far as Diaconu vs Dawson it's a close fight regardless who the winner is simply cause both of them can box nicely and can punch. Diaconu got tired in his last fight, Dawson showed that he could get hurt. You're talking about Dawson having 6 inches on Diaconu, but he did have 5 on Johnson too.
In the U.S. I'll take Dawson over Diaconu cause he'll fight a safe fight and he'll get rewarded for it. In Canada, I'll take Diaconu.

I seen Henry block most of those shots and was walking Diaconu down. His face was not busted up because he was neutralizing most of those big looping punches from Diaconu. He was catching Diaconu with uppercuts at will and was actually backing him against the ropes, which is not good since Diaconu is suppose to be the pressure fighter. Towards the end of the fight, i didn't like the body language that Diaconu showed. Every time he would be hit clean, he would complain to the referee about fouls that didn't even happen. Dawson is a very hard puncher and will be hitting Diaconu more than he is being hit. This fight doesn't look good for Diaconu.

If you see it as a wipe out , you're simply a nuthugger or a hater, so I can't really argue with you. I think it's a close fight. I think it's a 7-5 fight.

Hnery got whooped the cleanest, he's just a mosnter, nobody knocks this guy out. He got flush clean like 40 times and nada.

Glen Johnson is a multiple world champion and a battle tested warrior. He has never been knocked down or out on his feet in his entire career. When Hopkins stopped him, he was on his feet and not seriously hurt. His chin reminds me of a Marvin Hagler type, Rex Cobb or Librado Anrade. Diaconu has showed that he doesn't like to be hit and his chin is definitely not as good as Johnson's and his defense is not as good either. He will be hit clean by Dawson and a lot at that.

Just because Diaconu doesn't stop makes it seems like he can't be stopped? Please, a consistent hard puncher with good stamina and boxing ability can stop him from accumulation. Diaconu is the best opponent that he has fought.

Diaconu is a good fighter but it wouldn't be close. Its just a different level of talent and skill. In fact, what southpaw has Diaconu beaten?
