Calzaghe looks much healthier now than he did before the Kessler fight, he looked drawn before the Kessler fight. He says he feels his punching power has imporved at 175, and judging by his media workout, his speed is still there, the move up in weight can only help him IMO.

Damn someone must have made some money on that.
I look forward to the way in to see the tone and definition. I have a feeling Joe will look bigger than hopkins. Not ripped but toned and bigger

I might be being ****** but why would his punching power improve?

Draining yourself to make weight can take away some snap from you punches.

But then again I've never had to lose weight to make a fight.

If I lost as much weight as Joe does to make a fight I'd be on a drip.
I could. Look at how moving up has complimented Hopkins' frame for example. It's all about natural weight. That's the key, that is where you want to be.

Especially in the Kessler fight, agreed. He looked 15 years older.

If your weak and drained you can't put 100% on your punches with authority.

Puncing power derives from the wight behind the punches. Thats why to land the really big shots, fighters have to plant their feet.

Not ******, there's an open debate on that.

Evander Holyfield believes it's a myth.

I have a feeling his power will be back now that hes feeling more cofortable at the weight, so dont be surprised if he tkos hops.

Why do you worry? Calzaghe is gonna fight a 43 year old who looked awfully slow in his last fight vs Winky Wright. If you watch that fight you'll cease to worry, your boy will win hands down.
