if joe wins this will obviously be his best win, but like someone said he deserves some credit but not all due to hopkins' age. its a big reason why hes the favorite to win

Both brilliant fighters, I'm a fan of both, but a more of a fan of Joe.

Huge credit to whoever wins. It will be easily be their most impressive victory to date.

As a fan of both, I'm praying for a draw. Ha! But I would be most content with a Calzaghe victory. Joe wants to keep his unbeaten record in tact, and who am I to say he doesn't deserve it? What the hell have I done in comparison?

He has provided some great entertainment over the years and, in my opinion, he's a person the world needs to remember. Fighters like this don't come around often, they are an extreme rarity. After Joe retires, I'll be interested to know how long it'll be before we see another fighter who's able to stay at the very top of their division and how long they reign as a champion, how long it will be before anyone can smash a record of 18 years without losing a fight (amateur into pro), even match his amateur record where he made achievements unheard of since the 1930's, and, hopefully, retire unbeaten.

Hopkins has losses on his resume already. I won't feel bad if he loses because of that, and the fact that his place in history is already sealed. As a compassionate human being, I wish Joe all the luck in the world and hope he gets to realize the dream he's been passionately and patiently working towards.

Everyone knows how Bernard is an exception to the age rule due to his late starting career and his wins over Tarver and Wright.

When Calzaghe beats him, he beats him fair and square.

        NO EXCUSES
Calzaghe has already set himself up by saying he won't lose to a 43 year old. So you might as well prepare yourself in the fact that JC is in a lose lose situation as far as his clout goes.

Bernard Hopkins is going to kick the living **** out of Joe Calzaghe. Plain and simple. If by some strange miracle Joe Eurozaghe managed to do the impossible and win the ONLY reason would be that Hopkins got old overnight and became a has been. That is the ONLY way Joe Crapzaghe can win. End of story!

Calzaghe only get credit if he KOs or completely dominates Hopkins.

Otherwise... it was a 43 year old Hopkins.

Agreed. And even then his resume will always hold him back from the highest echelon. Unless he decides to keep fighting beyond his one planned fight after this.
