An excuse is an excuse, no matter how you slice it. All of Hopkins biggest wins have come after he turned 36 and half of them after he turned 40. He started late and was a late bloomer. The fact that he even has a chance in this fight should tell you something.

Hopkins is another machine all together, this guy is once in a lifetime, i think he can fight till hes 48 if he wanted too, this age thing means nothing to me, Calzaghes no spring chicken either.
