Are you kidding the only man he fought that was smaller is Oscar. I don't know if you know are not B hop walks around at around 160 1bs. He had to gain weight to fight Traver. Be for real. The man trains Yr round. He was back in the gym 3 days after the retirement. Lets face joe hasn't fought anybody to the caliber of Hopkins. Eubank isn't Hopkins. Hopkins is probably amongnst the top 100 fighters ever. Nothing against Joe but beating Kessler isn't beating Hopkins.

Calzaghe took ppl's 0's from them, thats not a poor resume if you can beat unbeaten fighters*unbeaten fighters who have fought more the 20 pro bouts*.

Hatton is a true world champion and he has heart, but he is no welterweight.

        He is a small guy.

Therefore, perhaps Hopkins shoud fight him instead. It would be appropriate.

I agree with what you have said, me too was impressed by how he handled Kessler, but Kessler is a nobody. You measure skills vs good opposition and good opposition wants more money. There you go. So Joe SEEMS to have the skills. Granted he will beat Hopkins (43 year old hype job) he will need a better test. Also if he was that good he would have gone to the US a long time ago.

If you're going to live on another man's scrotum you should at least be bothered to learn about his record. Felix Trinidad and Winky Wright were both much smaller than Hopkins and together with Oscar the three of them make up Hopkins' best wins.

Thats only because you cant see enough to rate them , your a hype believer and thought Lacy was the second coming , just like you thought Hatton was ,even after Lacy was exposed you still want to go with the pre hype and make him better than he was because it suits you pumping Joe tyres up , ,,,,,, Joe is a great fighter but his resume is not much at all if you believe different good for you .

Not quite absolutely. Not that being under Frank Warren helped, but Joe wanted Hopkins in 2002, ironically Bernard backed out, so it's pretty rich for him to say this. He also had talks with others in the US inc; Glen Johnson but due to hand injuries Joe had to pull out, and wanted RJJ I heard, whom didn't want any of it, but now he does.

There's 3 right there alone Joe's wanted for years and showed a great willingness. I'm not saying none of the blame is on his side, but it's not so much him, but the team whom take some of the blame, but most of it lays with the fighters declining or pulling out.

I wouldn't mind if RJJ and Bernard said sure we'll fight you, and they beat Joe. But they didn't, so it's pretty rich saying you should've fought here years ago, when he tried with that very person to.
