if floyd does not fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito after de la hoya he will loose the respect from me and a lot of boxing fans

He can through a large accumullation.

Tzu could`nt drop Hatton with a head shot and Floyd drooped hatton twice.

I'm not sure if it's just the Floyd haters or the Puerto Rican fans that say this out of bias, but I have trouble seeing how Cotto will dominate Floyd after studying his fighting style.

For 1, I think Cotto has a relatively weak chin. I remember him seeing being rocked by a very soft right hook by feather fisted malignaggi that sent Cotto a few feet back, as well as being rocked by Corley and other less notable fighters.
Floyd , as far as I know has never been shaken in his whole career.
No1 so far has been able to throw combinations at him that have wobbled him.
They say that Floyd is the runner, but its funny lately I've been seeing Cotto always in the back foot in most of his fights, even against Gomez he kept moving around the ring, and we all know Gomez couldn't hurt Cotto. Cotto is not the pressure fighter that everybody says he is.

Cotto is way too slow for Mayweather, his combinations are easily readable,i can so easily see mayweather blocking cotto's combinations when he is up against the ropes, weather the storm, then come back and pot shot Cotto.
I can't see anybody at the moment, who is Floyd's size beating him.
I think the people that can beat Mayweather are the bigger taller opponents.

I think Margarito is the best choice of opponents to beat Mayweather. too tall, too strong, CAN TAKE A PUNCH, and is relentless, and has that long jab to give floyd a lot of trouble.

People will never stop at calling out opponents for Floyd.

Floyd is just on a different level to Cotto skills wise, and that is the difference. If fighters like Torres and Corley were able to land consistent shots against Cotto what do you think Mayweather will do?

You are having wet dreams with Floyd again? LOL

Mayweather was stunned by Chop Chop Corley who also managed to badly hurt Cotto.

It wouldn't be a replay of the Hatton fight because Hatton came straight in without his hands up and got hit by counter right hands and left hooks, Cotto is much more educated with his pressure and carries 147 pounds much better than Hatton, I also think he's more skilled than Hatton.

The only way I can see Mayweather knocking Cotto out is to do what Judah did, time Cotto with an uppercut when he lunges in.
im quite sure mayweather can do what judah did and more

Cotto's chin got a lot better at 147. I dont know knocking Cotto out, but since Mayweather has enough to make people think twice before throwing. it would be nice to see him in front of Margarito who seem to barely feel Cintron's right hand.

That and Cotto not throwing a large number of punches make me think Margarito, might have e better chance against Mayweather... I think Mayweather will be rooting for Cotto in July.

I would like for Cotto to throw a bit more punches, have a certified rocksolid chin and not outweigh Mayweather by 10 pounds. That would be a fight for the ages. As it is, I see Mayweather trying to stay away from Cotto (and do it very disciplinedly, given those 10 pounds), succeed at doing it (given the difference in speed and skills and Cotto's low output), and win a boring UD, unless he sees Cotto's chin give in the later in the fight.
