    Why Floyd Will KO Cotto

With all this hype around Cotto /Floyd, I do seriously think Floyd can KO or stop Cotto. It will Floyd /Hatton once again.

I'm not sure if it's just the Floyd haters or the Puerto Rican fans that say this out of bias, but I have trouble seeing how Cotto will dominate Floyd after studying his fighting style.

For 1, I think Cotto has a relatively weak chin. I remember him seeing being rocked by a very soft right hook by feather fisted malignaggi that sent Cotto a few feet back, as well as being rocked by Corley and other less notable fighters.
Floyd , as far as I know has never been shaken in his whole career.
No1 so far has been able to throw combinations at him that have wobbled him.
They say that Floyd is the runner, but its funny lately I've been seeing Cotto always in the back foot in most of his fights, even against Gomez he kept moving around the ring, and we all know Gomez couldn't hurt Cotto. Cotto is not the pressure fighter that everybody says he is.

Cotto is way too slow for Mayweather, his combinations are easily readable,i can so easily see mayweather blocking cotto's combinations when he is up against the ropes, weather the storm, then come back and pot shot Cotto.
I can't see anybody at the moment, who is Floyd's size beating him.
I think the people that can beat Mayweather are the bigger taller opponents.

I think Margarito is the best choice of opponents to beat Mayweather. too tall, too strong, CAN TAKE A PUNCH, and is relentless, and has that long jab to give floyd a lot of trouble.

People will never stop at calling out opponents for Floyd.

Floyd is just on a different level to Cotto skills wise, and that is the difference. If fighters like Torres and Corley were able to land consistent shots against Cotto what do you think Mayweather will do?

Mayweather doesn't have the power to KO Cotto.
He's been rocked @ 140 where he was weight drained.
Cotto is naturally bigger then Hatton and stronger.
Cotto is an all around fighter and better then Hatton could ever be.
Sounds to me like you are biased yourself... How you compare Hatton and Cotto is beyond me!

And you forget.. Zab Judah dropped Floyd.

Cotto has a better chance of beating Mayweather than most of the welterweights, including Margarito. Margarito's punches are wide so Mayweather would see them coming and counter all day.

Cotto was off balance when Malignaggi hit him, he wasn't hurt and his chin has shown improvements since his move to 147.

Mayweather was stunned by Chop Chop Corley who also managed to badly hurt Cotto.

It wouldn't be a replay of the Hatton fight because Hatton came straight in without his hands up and got hit by counter right hands and left hooks, Cotto is much more educated with his pressure and carries 147 pounds much better than Hatton, I also think he's more skilled than Hatton.

The only way I can see Mayweather knocking Cotto out is to do what Judah did, time Cotto with an uppercut when he lunges in.

Well said. I can see that if Cotto does get "stunned" a by Mayweather punch..Floyd will take the initiative to end it via unsaswered shots too many and the ref will step in.

Cotto wont see the 10th round in this one.
Floyd pick his shorts at will and defend against everything Cotto brings.
Cotto will try to go below the belt a couple of times but that wont work,Floyd is the fittest and most conditioned fighter at the moment.
Thos fight wont even be competitive,Floyd will win every round

Yeah, since Mayweather does have a high knock out percentage against class opponents of recent note.. I think it being 1 out of 4 or 5

Because he knocks out a one dimensional and smaller Hatton all the sudden he will knock out Cotto now too?

                  Y'all hilarious!

After Money may beats Cotto a lot of these same people will just start to discredit Cotto. And start screaming another name Floyd needs to fight in order to be considered great.
